Load moment stability of universal coupling

It is difficult to adjust the two-axis alignment of large machines and equipment, and durable and easy-to-change couplings should be selected. Metal elastic components generally have a longer service life than non-metal elastic components, requiring sealing lubrication and the use of durable couplings. Universal coupling allows the Angle between the two axes to change within a limited range with the needs of the work, the size of the unbalance can meet the needs of any kind of rotating system, depends on the performance of each special connected machine, under normal circumstances, the existing standard coupling can basically meet the needs of different working conditions.

Torsional vibration analysis should be carried out when designing or selecting couplings for transmitting torque and motion. The basic principle is to reasonably match the mass, stiffness, resistance and the size and frequency of the interference force of the system, so that the transmission device does not operate within the speed range of the resonance zone or does not have a strong resonance phenomenon within the range of the operating speed. Because the driving torque of the power machine and the load moment of the working machine are unstable, the impact caused by the manufacturing error of the transmission parts and the dynamic load caused by the unbalanced centrifugal inertia force of the parts make the transmission shafting produce mechanical vibration under the variable load.

The universal coupling is composed of two half shafts, a middle extension section, a group of diaphragm and a bolt group. In the installation, install a diaphragm and the middle extension section, connect it with the screw in the correct way, and measure the other group of diaphragm gap with the caliper, the general gap is the actual thickness of the diaphragm plus 0.5mm, too small gap is easy to cause the diaphragm installation, disassembly difficulties, and produce abnormal noises during operation, and too large gap will create the diaphragm deformation, because after installing the coupling bolt, Because the two half couplings and the middle joint are connected with a diaphragm, they are flexible connections and are completely connected by the diaphragm.

Universal coupling is widely used in all kinds of general mechanical occasions because of its large deviation Angle and high transmission torque. If the wear is too deep, it will need to be surfacing and bushing repair in the journal and bearing. Heat treatment and grinding are also performed. After repair, the perpendicality of the two adjacent axes should be vertical and the axes should be in the same plane. The universal coupling is composed of a transmission arm pair and a plate, the plate has two pieces, the disk surface is opened with a number of holes and slots, used to connect the transmission arm pair and bearings and other components, in the two plates with more than three of the same transmission arm pair connection, and evenly distributed in the same radius of the plate.
