Coupling features, applications and fixing methods
Introduce: Couplings are widely used in transmission equipment for their protection of important parts, especially for shafts or other parts on the shaft that are difficult to disassemble and install, the coupling at the shaft end plays an important role. The elastic pin coupling has both protection and shock absorption. In the process of transmitting torque and movement, the coupling rotates together with the coupled parts without disengaging, and does not change the magnitude of the torque. In order to prevent damage to parts caused by accidental overload, couplings are often used. When the operating torque exceeds the torque allowed by the machine, the couplings in the coupling slip. The fixing method and content of the coupling: (1) Fastening bolt type: It is a traditional method with low cost. (2) Clamping type: Use the force of countersunk head bolts to shrink the slit and clamp the shaft tightly. It is convenient to fix and disassemble, and will not damage the shaft. (3) Separate type: It has a separate shaft sleeve, which can be fixed and disassembled without moving the device. (4) Semi-separated type: One side of this type is a clamping-type bushing, and the other side is a split-type bushing. Firstly, the shaft center of one side is fixed on the clamping-type bushing, and then the shaft center of the device end is installed for deafness. The dummy is in the separate bushing. (5) Keyway type: It is a traditional fixing method, which is suitable for the transmission of higher torque. In order to prevent axial movement, it is usually used together with fastening bolt type and clamping type.
